We worked with the NRCS (National Resources Conservation Service) to install a water supply system for livestock on this project. With our plow-in installation method, we used dozers to install two miles of 2” poly pipe waterline and eight rubber tire tanks for a livestock pipeline system to a ranch near Aladdin, Wyoming. We connected into two wells and installed two well pits to convert to a pressure system.
We prefer the plow-in installation method to be more efficient with less surface disruption than conventional chain trenchers. There is no topsoil removal, no reclamation needed, and vegetation is less damaged.
